It’s kinda like buying a new Honda accord without the engine and transmission for less. Then buying a rebuild engine and tranny from an older accord as long as it fits. Big difference in trucks is you can put any engine or transmission in any truck it will fit. On cars it is not like that but would it not be wonderful if you can slap a 5.0 engine in a little Honda Accord hahaha or buy a Ferrari shell and put engine and tranny from a corvette

I changed myself the engine at home,
Swapped a Cummins isx for a Detroit series 60 👍 everything works ok, only you have to get ordered from Mexico the conversion harnesses coded and matched with truck’s cab vin number and engine number

150,000 miles a year. After 4 years he'll have to rebuild again and replace a lot more. But get the freight with less hands in the cookie jar and you will be ok. The trucking industry is full of crooks and money snatchers. They really need to pay their drivers twice what they make now. Everything except the air you breathe and sometimes that is on a truck at some point. Safely delivered is because of that driver, not the company behind it. Drivers should definitely make more and I've heard sometimes they may be home about 75 days or less out of a year some definitely less than 100. Hats off to you guys and gals

Glider kits are a way to get around emissions, ELDs and maybe fuel economy

Gliders? As long as they use DEF. I'm against the pollution, black smoke.
