At least ya got a Volvo with the Cummins, they pull better for some reason. Drove a Volvo with the ugly green goblin under the hood, with a 10 speed. And one with the Cummins and a 10 speed. The Cummins performed better. Idk what with Cummins, but around half a million miles. They tend to want to overheat easier. Hopefully you haven't experienced that problem.

Getting your 1st new tractor, & acting like a kid in a candy shop is just human nature.

That's a wicked fresh ride, YO!

Volvo is probably the worst truck for new owner op. Every single person I know that owns one has nothing than problems. Very comfortable and nice trucks but reliability especially with electronics isn’t there.

Nope, not Ashley. They have a cut in the gold stripe. Plus no Cummins and a 13 speed.

Just got a 2019 cascadia. It's horrible. No flat surfaces to do paper work. No fridge, the sliding table is about 5 inches wide and completely pointless. No fuel range readout. Mirrors are too small. David Hudder you should talk to drivers and ask them what they need! I'm stuck with this rig for 5 years now, well if it lasts that long!

These trash Trucks are not even American trucks.
They are owned by germans and made in Mexico.
What makes these bad trucks to cost so much ?!.

The top of the line elite model no trucker will ever drive except maybe a few owner operators…..yawn…how about the model most produced that the average driver will drive? Same ol BS salesmanship from the dawn of time….."here is our version with all the bells and whistles, oh, and some extra custom order items…"

An important thing to think about is a place of an entertainment unit. Eg: A PS4. Most of us drivers have time on our hands after work or waiting on crap. Or that God awful reset on the road.

8% better fuel economy….but why the fuck don't they say how many miles per gallon. I can do 8% better mpg driving slowly, but i will tell you this….my 2014 Mack with MP8 505HP(which is actually a Volvo D13) puling flatbed, almost always fully loaded, cost to coast and all 48 states, with an overhaul at 800k does this….at 60mph i get 6.4mpg, at 65mph i get 5.9mpg, at 70mph i get 5.5mpg, at 75mph i get 5.0mpg, at 80mph i get 4.7mpg….this is how you tell to people real numbers about fuel consumption, not fucking better percentage over previous generation.
